ASSAN PORT İskenderun was established by KİBAR HOLDING company, ASSAN PORT OPERATOR INC. at the end of 2010. As the first container terminal in the Bay of İskenderun serving modern container vessels, Assan Port İskenderun has become the second major alternative for the same hinterland after the Port of Mersin.

The terminal's current annual design capacity of 250.000 TEU will be increased to 400.000 TEU with new investments.

Assan Port İskenderun's convenient geographical location offers advantages to companies in Eastern Mediterranean and South Eastern Anatolia regions, as well as the southern part of Central Anatolia region. Assan Port İskenderun is also the closest terminal to Northern Iraq, and therefore its closest outlet to the West.
